1. Clicking “Riff” begins a new post , a response based on the old post.
2. The original post will be annotated with a note linking to your new post so people can find the riff.
3. Your new post is also attributed at the top with a link to the original post.

Microsoft has launched a new social networking site So.cl, an experimental research project developed by Microsoft’s FUSE Labs. so.cl combines social networking and search to help people find and share interesting web pages.

You can sign-up so.cl using Facebook or Windows Live ID account. once you're in, you'll see a pop-up window suggesting some general interest as well as people to follow. If you sign in with your Facebook account, then So.cl will show you any of your Facebook friends that currently are on the site.

After you've chosen who and what you want to follow, you will get feed section, which is your news feed similar to Facebook and Google+ sites. your feeds shows every public post that other so.cl uses shared online. Here you can also choose just the people and categories you are following. There's also a section "Conversations" under your feeds where you can send messages to other So.cl users.

Next is the posting section. Just find interesting images and links on the web using Bing-powered search bar at the top of the page and So.cl helps you assemble them automatically into a compelling visual montage.

There are different way to respond to every post on Socl. Like on other social networks, you can like, comment and share a user's post. So.cl also includes a "tag" feature that lets you tag your posts and other users posts and new a "riff" feature that Similar to “Comment” clicking “Riff” will assist you in responding to a post.

A Required CD/DVD Device Driver is Missing: When Installing Windows From USB
